Oconee River Land Trust - Volunteer Work​​​​​​​

I volunteered with the Oconee River Land Trust (ORLT) for nearly two years during my time as an MBA student at the University of Georgia.  ORLT is conservation focused nonprofit which protects over 42,000 acres of land across Georgia.  I provided drone photography & videography services to help document their conservation work, and provide digital products for their social media presence.  

My first site visit with ORLT was to "Cold Clear Creek", a beautiful property featuring an old quarry, river, and wetlands.  I spent an amazing day hiking and "droning" the property.  This was my first non recreational use of my drone, and I learned a ton from documenting this property and editing the products.  All of these products were taken with my first drone, a DJI Mini 2.  At the time I was incredibly proud of the products, but looking back there was so a lot of room for improvement!

After my first site visit I had proven my worth to ORLT and was more frequently invited to attend site visits and document their work.  While there are far too many photos and videos to share I have put together a collection below for you to scroll through and enjoy.
